Varices or vericose veins usually found in the feet and in women. But varices in the testis or varicoceles make a man depression and interfere with fertility or become infertile. Varicoceles are caused by failure of venous valves that function to maintain the flow of blood to flow back to the heart. If a failure occurs then the blood will gather in the veins, causing stretching and enlarging the vein wall.
